Hello, hello! I’ve just released a game called ALL PREPARATIONS ARE COMPLETE for Neo-Twiny Jam this year!

It’s a very short prequel to CUE PITY’S ARROW, my previous release, which provides some further insights into Karius’ character. Like the fact that he has a dog – bet you didn’t know that one!

It’s supposed to help me with writing the extended version, where his backstory has given me great trouble, but it may inadvertently make you more confused in the process… I’m sorry, it’ll all make sense one day…

Alongside general university activities, I’ve been dealing with a whole lot of physical and mental health issues, hence my prolonged absence. I don’t know when I’ll be ‘back’ to a normal degree of posting or development activity, but I’m trying my best.

(My normal degree of posting is not very much anyways, particularly since I’ve freed myself from the Twitter demon, but y’know. I mean in the sense of showing any signs of life whatsoever.)

I apologise that this release announcement is a bit of a downer, but I hope you’ll enjoy ALL PREPARATIONS ARE COMPLETE regardless.

As for that my future activities, CUE PITY’S ARROW: PERFECT CRIME (!!!) should be out sometime next year, perhaps when it’s most seasonally appropriate? I also hope to release another game later this year, but I guess we’ll see!  

Just for transparency’s sake, I don’t recommend newcomers play the current version of CUPITY after APAC. While there isn’t anything story-relevant here that contradicts the O2A2 versions, the extended version which APAC works off will be the canon release of the game and will contradict aspects of the O2A2 versions quite blatantly.

I’ll be making it, along with the DEMO of J.K’S EVERYDAY, unavailable to download/play after 2PITY* is released. I’m not happy with the quality of either one of these releases, and both have major inconsistencies between the versions out now and their finals. They’re only still up now as prospective entry-points to my work and will have served their purpose once 2PITY is up.

Concerning JKSED in particular – the MAIN ENTRY order has shifted so that JKSED is now second to be released, mainly due to how inaccessible it’ll be without certain knowledge the first will introduce. These projects are on the back-burner while I wrap up development on 2PITY and its related projects.

* Despite the shorthand, 2PITY is just an extended re-release. I just thought the pun was funny. Albeit it will have an epilogue… but no, it’s not a sequel.
